Here's another fun one for Emma......I hope.
Poor Man's Turtles
30 mini pretzel twists
30 Rolo candies
30 pecan halves

Preheat oven to 325.
Spray cookie sheet with Pam; Place pretzels in single layer on cookie sheet
Place one Tolo candy on each pretzel
Place in oven and bake 4 minutes
Immediately place one pecan half on each pretzel candy - press gently to spread candy and embed pecan
Chill until cool
ps. there are 8 Rolos to a roll if you don't want to buy a bag of Rolos.
ENJOY

While sorting through my piles of copied recipes today to get ready for a dinner party next week I came across "Ziploc Omelets" and thought Emma might enjoy doing them. Have you heard of this recipe?
Have guests write their name on a quart size ziploc freezer bag with permanent marker.
Crack 2 eggs into the bag (not more) and shake to combine them.
Put out a variety of ingredients - ie. cheese, ham, onioni, pepper, mushrooms, tomato, etc
Each guest adds prepared ingredients of choice to her bag and shakes it.
Make sure to get the air out of the bag and zip it
up.
Place bags into boiling water for exactly 13 minutes - you can usually cook 6-8 omelets in a large pot.
Open the bags carefully and the omelet will roll out easily.
Nice to serve with fresh fruit.
ENJOY

Just love the website! I can't stop clicking and reading all the recipes (or, more accurately, the stories accompanying each recipe).

I will definitely try the meatloaf, Mexican Chicken Lime Soup and 5 minute chocolate cake (my kind of time frame)!

I will be checking in regularly. Thanks so much for sharing!
